oh the beginning...

i'm in wichita falls currently, having just gotten back home from emily kelley's wedding (high school friend). weird, but not out of the ordinary. i got here this morning and am leaving around 7:30 tomorrow morning to beat the campers to camp. not beat the campers at camp... haha. anyways, i'm already exhausted. awesome. and i have a throat infection... what!? i don't know... but it feels like i have all these ulsers in my throat and swallowing is a thought out process these days.

i am so ready for campers to be there... planning is fun and all but quite tedious when the purpose for your planning sees no full execution. it has been a long, tiring two weeks working non-stop and sleeping little. the kids make all the work totally worth it. tonight at the wedding an old friend said, "wait! you're working at camp again? how is it that people get trapped into going back to camp?" ... and i thought for a second and said, "you know, at this point, i'm not trapped... it just really is what i love."

hearing smash say what she did was so refreshing. that we fight things and fight things and then one day, we sit back and realize that God was right all along. but oh the beauty of the struggle, right!?

am i excited? shoot yeah.
am i tired? more than i remembered being at camp.
am i ready? what is ready really outside of the Lord's timing and control of my life... He's got the whole world, in His hands...

I cried A LOT this week... out of fear, realization of the Lord's redemption in my life, for those who don't know that forgiveness, and for how much love my life feels.

Sit back... look at the sky and remember how good He is. He just is so much more than we could ever ask or imagine.
